Maxime Cannesson, MD, PhD, New Section Editor for Anesthesia & Analgesia

Congratulations to Maxime Cannesson, MD, PhD on his new appointment as the new Section Editor for Technology, Computing, and Monitoring for the Journal Anesthesia & Analgesia.

In this role, Dr. Cannesson will be responsible for all manuscripts related to Technology, Computing, and Monitoring within the specialties of anesthesiology submitted to Anesthesia & Analgesia. The responsibilities of this new appointment will include the intellectual quality of the work that appears in his section, as well as evaluating journal policies that promote the highest ethical and intellectual standards of rigorous scholarship.

Dr. Michelle Fortier Awarded $729K Grant from the American Cancer Society

Dr. Michelle Fortier has been awarded a $729,000 prestigious career grant through the American Cancer Society (ACS).

The Mentored Research Scholar Grant in Applied and Clinical Research from ACS provides support for mentored research to junior faculty in order to develop into independent investigators in cancer control and prevention.
